Wheels Restored, Roads Explored!

1) Remove Wheels From Vehicle/Drop Off Wheels

Upon your vehicle's arrival, we either assign it a secure parking spot or provide loaner wheels (At Additional Cost) If you choose the latter, we’ll fit the loaner wheels on your car, allowing you to stay on the road while we refurbish your alloy wheels. Or you can opt to drop off the wheels at your convenience.

2) Remove Tyres And Remove All Tyre Glue And Wheel Weights

Our skilled tire fitters carefully remove and label each tire before storing them securely. All valves, sensors, and weights are also removed during this process.

3) Stripping Wheels

The wheels are transported to our chemical treatment room, where they are immersed in specialized chemicals. This process effectively strips away all previous paint, coatings, rubber, grime, and dirt, revealing the bare metal and exposing any corrosion.

4) Removing Kerb Rash

All cosmetic damage is meticulously removed from the wheel using a variety of specialized tools and techniques, ensuring a smooth, prepped surface. Following a final inspection, the wheel is ready for powder coating.

5) Straightening & Welding

Should any buckles or cracks be identified during the inspection process, they are promptly repaired and addressed. Any identified issues are welded and reshaped to ensure the wheel remains straight and to prevent further crack propagation.

6) Powder Coat

The wheels undergo an initial degassing procedure at approximately 200 ℃, which effectively eliminates any trapped gases within the wheel to prevent future bubbling of the coating. Subsequently, a powder base is applied and returned to the ovens for curing. Following this, a color coat is applied before being returned to the ovens for further processing.

7) Diamond Cut

For newer, premium wheels, an additional step is involved, especially for diamond-cut wheels. These wheels are placed on a lathe, and a diamond-tipped tool is carefully run across the entire surface of the wheel face. This process gradually removes microns of material, resulting in a polished finish on the wheel face.

8) Lacquer

After the diamond cut process, the wheels are returned to the ovens along with others to receive a powdered acrylic lacquer. This unique method contributes to our distinctive glossy appearance, resulting in a durable, vibrant, and high-gloss finish.
